# How to edit a published shift?

**To proceed with editing the shift, please navigate to the Schedule menu, click on the specific shift that you wish to cancel, and click on the “Edit Shift” button.** You may edit the shift date, start/end time, the number of headcount required, and the base wage.

Please note that if there is a confirmed gigger for the specific shift, the base wage is locked for the confirmed gigger to ensure fairness and transparency. This policy protects the gigger from potential pay cuts and ensures they receive the compensation originally agreed upon, which promotes trust and ethical engagement between employers and giggers.
