How to Update Your Mobile Number on FastJobs

Keeping your contact details up to date on FastJobs is super important! It ensures employers can reach you easily for interviews and keeps your profile securely verified. If you have changed your phone number recently, updating it in our system takes less than a minute. Just follow these simple steps:

Steps to update your mobile number

1. Open the FastJobs app on your device.
2. Tap on your Profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
3. Select "Please complete verification" from the menu.
4. Choose "Change phone number", select your correct country code (Singapore +65 or Malaysia +60), and enter your new mobile number.
5. Save your changes—you will receive a quick verification SMS on your new line to complete the process!

⚠️ Important Note: "Number already in use" error

To keep accounts secure, each phone number can only be linked to one FastJobs account at a time. If your new number was previously used to create an older account, the system will show an error message and block the update. If this happens, you have two choices:

• Use a different, unique mobile number.
• Drop a quick message to our support team at customercare@fastjobs.sg. Let us know that you own the number now, and we can completely delete the old, inactive account linked to it so you can free it up for your current profile!
