How do I cancel a gigger after I had offered them a shift?
We understand that unexpected situations may occur, requiring a cancellation of the confirmed gigger. You may navigate to the “Schedule” menu, click on the confirmed shift on the scheduling calendar, and change the status to “Rejected”.
However, please be aware that our cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and protect Giggers who have committed their time and availability for the scheduled shift.
If a cancellation or rejection occurs:
- Less than 48 hours before the shift start time, you will be required to compensate the gigger with a minimum of 2 hours' pay based on their Pay Rate, or at least $20—whichever is higher.
- More than 48 hours before the shift start time, no compensation is required.
