What is Resume Invite and how does it work?

Want to let someone review candidate resumes, but they don’t have a FastJobs employer account? With our Forward Resume feature, you can easily share applicant details with people outside your company user list!

This is perfect for colleagues, hiring managers, or external decision-makers who need access to view resumes but don’t require full access to your FastJobs dashboard.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Login to your FastJobs employer account.
  2. Navigate to [Settings] on the top navigation bar, then go to Forward Resume → Recipients List.
  3. Click on the [Add New User] button on the top right.

  4. Enter the person’s name and email address. They will receive an invitation to view the applicant's resume.
    1. Once they accept, their status will be updated to Accepted.
    2. After that, you can start forwarding resumes to them!

If the person is already listed as a Resume User (with an Accepted status), you can simply forward resumes to them without any additional steps. They just need to log in to access the profiles directly.

How to forward a resume:

  1. Go to your job applicants - Head over to the list of applicants under your job ad.

  2. Click the [More Actions] next to the applicant - You’ll see a little menu pop up—choose “Forward Resume.”

  3. Select who you want to share it with - Your recipient list will show up. Just tick the people you want to send the resume to, then hit “Forward Resume.”

  4. Decision makers get an email to review - Once you’ve forwarded the resume, the people you selected will get an email with the applicant’s details. From there, they can mark if the applicant is “Suitable” or “Not Suitable.”

  5. Check on forwarded resumes and replies - Want to see who you’ve sent resumes to or check if anyone replied? Go to Settings → Forward Resume → Forwarded List

That’s it! A simple way to loop others in on your hiring process without any messy back-and-forth.
