I can’t create an account. What should I do?

If you're having a bit of trouble signing up for a FastJobs account, don't worry! Registration hitches usually come down to a few quick fixes. Here are the most common issues and exactly how to solve them:

1. You didn't receive the SMS confirmation code

FastJobs requires a valid Singapore (+65) or Malaysia (+60) phone number for account verification.

  • The fix: If you are using a phone number from outside these two regions, the system will not be able to send an SMS code. In this case, we highly recommend partnering with a local, licensed recruitment agency to help you navigate your employment journey in Singapore.

2. You're seeing an "Invalid Email Address" error

Our registration system can be sensitive to typos or formatting quirks.

  • The fix: Double-check that your email address is spelled exactly right, making sure there are no accidental spaces at the beginning or end and no unusual special characters. If the error persists, try signing up using a different email address.

3. The system says your email or number is "already in use"

This means your email address or mobile number is already connected to an active account on our database—you might have created an account with us in the past!

  • The fix: Go back to the main screen and try to log in using that email or number instead. If you can't remember your old login details, you can use the "Forgot Password" link. Alternatively, you can sign up using a brand-new email address, or drop us a line if you need us to completely delete the old, inactive account.
